How Epitalon Can Slow Down Aging

I listen to Rhonda Patrick a lot

She is great when it comes to anti-aging

One thing she talks about is the shortening of telomeres

When telomers shorten it causes cell damage

Cell damage causes sickness which ultimately leads to death (sorry to be grim)

But there is a peptide that can help prevent this

Epitalon!

Epitalon is a peptide that is gaining increasing attention in the anti-aging community as an innovative way to slow down the effects of aging. Studies have suggested that epitalon may help prevent aging by controlling telomere length, modulating hormone levels, and boosting the production of anti-oxidants. In this blog post, we will look at the research and clinical studies on epitalon and explore how it can be used to slow down the aging process. We will also discuss the dosing protocol and whether or not epitalon is FDA approved.

Epitalon is a peptide consisting of four amino acids-the amino acids work on the body to secrete a hormone which makes us live longer 😁😁😁

I’m trying to keep this stuff simple as possible:

Alanine, glycine, aspartic acid, and glutamic acid are the four amino acids.

The amino acids stimulate the production of telomerase, an enzyme that is responsible for the lengthening of telomeres.

Telomeres are the protective caps at the end of our DNA strands that shorten as we age.

When telomeres become too short, our cells become damaged and eventually die.

By lengthening telomeres, epitalon can help prevent age-related damage and slow down the aging process.

So to recap: Amino acids produce telomerase which lengthens telomers which protect our cells.

Hopefully I made that simple…..when you get into the science of epitalon it can be mind numbing!

BUT for you brainiacs here are two clinical studies to read:

Peptide promotes overcoming of the division limit in human somatic cell

Epitalon has also been shown to stimulate the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates our sleep-wake cycles and has antioxidant properties. It also helps to boost the immune system and protect against oxidative stress.

All Good shit!

Epitalon has scientific studies showing it worksπŸ’₯

Nobody would be talking about epitalon if there wasn’t at least a little science behind it.

I actually read every clinical study on it….it may have taken me a little while to understand it. But now I have a pretty good grasp on it.

Here are 4 good ones:

One of the most well-known studies was conducted in 2013 by Dr. Vladimir Khavinson and his team at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. In this study, the researchers gave Epitalon to a group of elderly patients and measured their telomere length, the key marker of aging. The results of the study showed that Epitalon was able to increase telomere length in the participants, indicating that it may help to reverse or slow down the aging process.

Another study, published in the International Journal of Immunopharmacology in 2003, looked at the effects of Epitalon on immune function in rats. The researchers found that Epitalon was able to improve the animals’ immune response and increase the production of key immune cells. This is important because as we age, our immune system becomes weaker, making us more susceptible to disease and infection.

Another study published in the journal Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine showed that epitalon supplementation in rats increased their lifespan by an average of 12%, and improved various health parameters such as bone density, cognitive function, and immune function.

Lastly. A human prospective cohort study conducted on a sample of 266 people over age 60 demonstrated that epitalon produced a 1.6–1.8-fold reduction in mortality during the followingΒ 6 years.

May head hurts after digging through all that science!

Hopefully I summed it all up for you in simple terms.

Im Sold…..How much epitalon do I take?

While epitalon is still considered to be an experimental treatment for aging, researchers have established a recommended dosing protocol.

The dosing protocal is based on the research that has been done on Epitalon. The most effective dosage for a person is 10mg to 20mg of Epitalon taken intramuscularly (injected directly into the muscle tissue) once per week.

For maximum benefits, this regimen is recommended to be followed for up to ten weeks. The dosing schedule is followed by a six-month break before beginning the process again.

So 10mg once a week for 10 weeks then 6 months off and repeat.

A cool thing to do is send in some cheek cells to a lab that will measure the length of your telomers. Then do a cycle and see if it helps.

Here a 3 companies that will do this for you:

Now I just went on google and pulled these off the internet. I don’t recommend these companies and you should probably look into them on your own. But I did use teloyears…they were fast and easy.

My results…..not so good.

I drank too much beer when I was younger!

FDA approval

As of now, Epitalon has not yet received FDA approval in the United States. However, it is approved for use in other countries such as Russia and Germany, where it is prescribed as a prescription drug.

While the FDA has not yet approved the use of Epitalon, research is still being conducted on its safety and effectiveness. As a result, it is available for purchase as a research chemical.

It is important to note that just because a substance is not yet FDA approved, does not mean it is not safe or effective. Many supplements and treatments are widely used by people around the world, even without FDA approval.

If you are considering using Epitalon, it is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new treatment protocol. They can help you understand the risks and benefits, and ensure it is safe to use alongside any medications or health conditions you may have.

Lets wrap this up:

Epitalon is one of the cooler peptides out there.

I’m surprised it doesn’t get more attention. I think this is because you dont actually feel or see any change when you use it. This may make you feel like it isnt working.

But for a guy like me who wasnt gently on his body in his early years this can be awesome.

I’m currently on a cycle of it now.

When I finish up and get my results I will share it with everyone.

Thanks for reading!
